Is an australian shepherd right for me?

Aussies make better pets for people who live in the country or have large spaces. They need a lot of exercise and something to do. I have two, they play the entire day. I cannot feature putting them in a crate for any length of time and having them remotely adjust to that lifestyle. If I were you, I'd go for a smaller type house dog.
