Yes, this is another Batman post. Sorry, i'm obsessed. I just can't describe to you in words what i felt when i first saw The Dark Knight. But right to the point. In the movie, The Joker tells Batman about the two addresses in which he kept Dent and Rachel. So Batman decides on Rachel, but ends up with Dent. I didn't think of that at first, but people speculated that Joker switched them up, knowingly, or unknowingly. That was fine for me for a while, until i realized. The ending scene, my favorite. Batman emphasizes "What happened to Rachel wasn't chance. We decided to act. We three!" then i speculated that Batman did go after rachel, but instead turned his direction to Dent knowing he's more important. But that didn't explain how Gordon who said he was going to get Dent, ended up with Rachel. Ahhh Ef you Nolan. Then i thought some more, what did Batman actually mean by "we three"? Dent wasn't part of the immediate decision. I speculated that we three can only mean Joker. For some odd reason. But then it hit me, Dent says "The Joker chose me!" then it hit me, The Joker DID switch up the addresses, knowingly, he knew Batman was gonna save Rachel, so he gave him Dent's address cuz Joker wants Rachel to die. Why? Batman said it himself "He wanted to prove that even someone as good as you could fall." Man that whole ending revealed a lot. I'm sorry if ya'll have realized this before me. I just again, had to post it up to make myself feel better.
