I'm shy, is it true if I pledge a frat this summer they'll make me run across the quad at noon in just my PJs?

that's pretty mild. though there are rules in place to prevent serious hazing at most colleges, it still goes on, and running across a quad in your pj's in nothing. people wear their pjs to cl in college, for goodness sake. if you're really that shy, where doing that would embar you, i don't suggest pledging unless you'd like to toughen up.
