What does it take for a politician to appeal to you?

truth helps , but actually meeting a candidate always helps me. our local state representative comes to the store where i work all the time. he talked politics with us , and even promised us shirts. we ...came back with them later in the day and personally gave them to us !! yes , i voted for him and he is republican ... and won the race !!
